With the recent opening of Uniqlo in San Diego, we finally have a fresh new spot to grab everyday basics that actually work for our lifestyle.
Two stores opened last October, and let me tell you—this famous Japanese brand is bringing us beautifully made basics, incredible quality-to-price ratio, casual wear with simple designs, and top-notch quality that stands the test of time.
During my visit to the UTC store last week, I stumbled upon the perfect gym jacket. I was just window shopping with my friend Brad when we spotted it—puffy, soft, and available in our favorite colors. I fell in love with the pink one, and Brad was all about the off-white.
So why didn’t I buy it on the spot? Well, I underestimated just how cold San Diego can get. I can’t lie—I can’t call myself a true San Diegan until I can handle temperatures under 65°F without complaining. But you know what? I’ll be going back, and that jacket will be mine.
