Let’s talk about the real heroes of the wedding day: the shoes.

Mine? I was completely, irrationally, joyfully in love with them.
They made me feel like a 60s bride—sophisticated, playful, the kind of woman who knows exactly who she is and still leaves a little sparkle behind when she walks away.
And here’s the plot twist: they were only $118.
Yes. Those shoes.
Because for me, it wasn’t about the label—it was about the feeling. And more importantly… the comfort.
I hadn’t worn heels regularly since 2016. So the idea of spending hours standing, walking, and celebrating in uncomfortable shoes? Absolutely not.
I wanted to feel light. Present. Free to move.
And I did.
But I also had a second plan—because every good bride knows: dancing waits for no one.
So I packed a pair of sneakers. Found them at the Outlets at the Americas for around $25, and honestly? Best decision of the night.
The moment I changed into them, it was game over.
I danced. And danced. And then danced some more.
At some point, it turned into full-on zapateado energy—no holding back, no thinking twice.
Just joy, movement, and a bride who refused to sit down.
If you take anything from this: choose the shoes that let you live your wedding, not just pose in it.
Because the best memories aren’t made standing still.
